so i'm stuck in the calgary airport waiting to take the 630am flight home.
i've been half watching movies (love actually, human traffic, terms of endearment) and snacking on junk food (gummy bears, a slurpee, a twix bar) in an effort to stay awake.

since it's december 7 (and also my 6 month anniversary with r!), i figure i might as well do the ( year in review )

i am so lucky in every single way but money.
i suppose that's better than being sick.

i worked a sweet three hour shift at lush today which basically translated into me spending $35 instead of $70, smelling good and covered in sparkles, and up-and-at-em when i would otherwise be hiding under covers.

and then i got to have lunch at joey's with laine, where i obviously had my absolute favorite fish tacos and caught up.

and tomorrow i'm off to vancouver to spend the night before working my way to honolulu to sail and beachbum with mel.

i'm also so incredibly, disgustingly, completely in love with my boyfriend.

...

these entries are becoming increasingly boring to write. there's nothing interesting about happiness.

i just got back from a fabulous three-day pairing.
it began with a sisterly sleepover and a dinner with my long-lost cousin and ended with breakfast and a personalized safety features card.

and tonight (or, rather, in about an hour), i'm off on a roadtrip to regina with j.
he needs to pick up a truck and i'm coming along for the ride.
i'm so excited to be on that open road again. so excited.

tuesday night r and i are attending a comedy show i won tickets to and we're going with both set of parents.
and while i am excited for them to meet, i'm a bit scared. i feel like i'm setting our parents up on a parent-date - i hope they like each other!

currently r is making me my love burger. and i think yam fries but he's keeping that a secret.
today's spicy chick'n burger is going to have feta on it instead of cheddar. i'm excited to taste the feta+spicy+spring greens mix.

i'm excited about a lot of things.

like also xmas eve and the other parent date we're having, along with sibiings. to see my extended family at the end of the month, to go to cancun twice in a week in two weeks, to work at lush again (they randomly emailed and asked me to work!), for merry kitschmas on friday, to see the giselles girls again, for derek and richard to meet, and for my as-yet-unplanned new years eve.

i would also call myself animated, enlivened, adrenalized, enthusiastic and psyched about these above-mentioned things.
